The second addition to the Bitter Springs series by Jo Goodman is just as good as the first. I've grown quite fond of the residents in this small Wyoming town, and Cobb and Tru are two great additions. We meet some old friends and gain a few new ones, none of whom disappoint. Cobb Bridger is a man worth admiring and Richard Mackey is a man worth despising. Tru Morrow has her secrets, but she doesn't allow them to stand in the way of living the life she wants. Goodman has a talent for diving deep into the lives of her characters, and it's not long before you feel as though you've made new friends. Smart and entertaining dialogue packed with wit and drama, pack a punch when combined with a great plot and well-researched story. If you love historical romantic westerns, then I highly recommend giving this author's books a try.
